A SKYPE SHOW is a live broadcast being done through your computer and delivered to us through SKYPE.

A free SKYPE account interfaces the output of your computer through the internet with our computer installed in the radio station studio in Hollywood California. This method allows the announcer to deliver shows to our studio from the comfort of the announcer's home.

A free SKYPE account is very easy to setup. Simply go to http://www.SKYPE.com and download the free software. Follow the prompts during installation and when you are done, your voice and the music you play in your computer will be broadcast in our radio station studio.

Step 1:  You get skype account.

Step 2: Talk into mic & play music using your computer.

Step 3: Send show via the internet through skype.

Step 4:  We get skype account.

To use skype as the connection between your computer and our live studio, after you install skype successfully in your computer, call the Hollywood studios at (213)819-7674 and ask for David any Sunday after 5pm PST. David will adjust your audio levels and test your skype account to see if it is ready for broadcast.

PURPOSE OF THE SKYPE SHOW:

The purpose of the SKYPE SHOW is to allow our correspondents the ability to send live radio programs to us or prerecorded material via a free skype account. Once a correspondent is connected to our live studio in Hollywood California using a skype account, any type and any length of radio show can be sent to us. The correspondent speaks into the computer's microphone and that's how we get the voice into our studio. The music would play out of the computer's speakers and through the skype account and straight to our radio station studio. The possibilities are endless.

Skype is not the only means by which your show could be delivered to us. You can use PC DJ, Windows Media Encoder etc. Just about any software that allows live audio or TV content sent through the internet can be used.
